Palomba is mainly devoted to the figurative painting as she believes the relationship between viewer and piece is incredibly important. Within her works she works through her own experiences with mental health and the people around her. issues surrounding mental health and loneliness play a key role in her inspirations towards her work also. Almost every piece Palomba makes she uses the medium of Oil although the materials in background often differ between canvas ,linen ,velvet ,metal ,wood and plaster. Palomba does this to incorporate the modern with the classic. Her main aim is to make oil painting more relevant within contemporary art and themes.
